Galdhøpiggen
On 17th August, 2025, my brother and I decided to take a hike up to Galdhøpiggen in Norway. Galdhøpiggen is Scandinavia's highest mountain peak, from there you got an amazing view over Jotunheimen.

The ideal weather
For this trip, I had two cameras; Sony Alpha A7R III (ILCE-7RM3) as my main camera and a GoPro Hero 12 for quick snapshots. Very lucky with the weather, clear skies and no wind. It really made it easier to carry stuff.
Maybe it was a few days early birthday gift from the mountain spirits, who knows...
Stitched panoramas
During this hike I had two lenses for the main camera; a Sony FR 28-70 mm F3.5-5.6 OSS and a Sony FE 12-24/4 G lens. Using the FE 12-24/4 G I got some nice wide angle shots, but I also experimented with just having a tripod with the FR 28-70 mm F3.5-5.6 OSS lens and then later stitch the photos together to get a wide panorama image.
